Natalia Chernysheva is an artist and an animation filmmaker based in  France. She was born in Ekaterinburg, Russia, studied in the Animation Department at the Ural State Architecture and Arts Academy.

She is the author and the director of several award-winning animated short films screened in a great number of international film festivals (including Clermont-Ferrand, Ottawa, Hiroshima).

Her films have received more than fifty awards and honors from around the world.

With her projects Natalia was in several residencies for animated films: l'Abbaye de Fontevraud, Japic residency in Tokyo, Maison des Auteurs in Angoulême.
